Our Business Code of Ethics

THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE Business Code of Ethics

As a centre offering services to seniors in our community, THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE sets high ethical standards for business conduct. We also apply these standards to ourselves, Volunteers and our Business Partners.

THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE Business Code of Ethics (the “Code”) helps ensure that THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE Business Partners etc share our commitment to an ethical senior center. For the purposes of this Code, “THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE” refers to any The Day Center, and any other THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE-affiliated entity. “Business Partners” refers to suppliers that contract to provide THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE with any product or service and other organizations that contract with THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE to accomplish its mission, and includes the employees, agents and contractors of Business Partners. “Business Partners” does not include THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE Accredited Businesses or THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE National Partners unless they form a contractual relationship with THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE beyond their accreditation by THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE or membership in THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE.

THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE expects that Business Partners will conduct their business with or on behalf of THE CAVENDISH DAY CENTRE in compliance with the Code. As appropriate, preference will be given to Business Partners that demonstrate greater commitment to this Code and ethical standards.
